According to the Oral Cancer Foundation Oral Cancer is survivable up to 90% of the time when caught in the first two stages. The problem is people rarely get checked for Oral Cancer. This leads to an overall mortality rate of 40%.
A natural place to have these exams is at your Dentist office. We've offered these exams for years but the new Oral ID system we can take these check ups to a new level of detection not possible before.
The new system uses "fluorescence technology" to light up possible cancerous and precancerous areas. It's quick to use and doesn't hurt. In addition if there is a possible problem, the system can gather pics and additional info to pass along to another Doctor if needed.
